World No. 1 the first to win six ATP World Tour Masters 1000 titles in a single season.

World No. 1 Novak Djokovic stormed to his third Paris Masters title in a row on Sunday after winning in style over second seed Andy Murray of Britain.

The 28-year-old Serb, who has won the ATP regular season finale in 2009, 2013 and 2014, made easy work of Murray in the men's singles final, beating the Scot 6-2, 6-4 for his 10th title of the year, including an unprecedented six Masters trophy and three Grand Slam wins.

Former world No. 1 Roger Federer, who's ousted of the Paris tournament in round of 16, is now four titles behind Djokovic in 2015.

"If you are going for the perfection, you might reach excellence," said the Serb after taking just 93 minutes to dispatch Murray. "That's the kind of mind set I have."

He won eight straight points from the end of the first game before he took the first set in 42 minutes.

Breaking in the third game of the second set, Djokovic overcame a short revival of Murray and broke again in the seventh after dropping one of his own.

Serving for the match while leading 5-4, Djokovic forced a return landing out and a two-handed backhand going wide to wrap up the 30th career encounter against Murray, improving the record against the Scot to 21-9.

With Sunday's victory, Djokovic extended his winning streak to 22 matches and will be favorite to win the season ending ATP finals for the fourth in a row one week later in London.

"I think in terms of physical and mental ability, I have reached my peak," he said. "There is no reason for me to decrease the pace. Hopefully I can finish off the season with another great win."

"It's been an incredible year for him. Well done," said Murray, who beat the Serb in the 2013 Wimbledon final.

"Since the beginning of last year, my results against him and Roger Federer haven't been good enough. I need to think about why that is and what I can do to turn it around," added Murray who will lead Britain to the Davis Cup final against Belgium later this month.??
