The Shanghai Sharks got big performances from unlikely sources to stave off a feisty Foshan Dralions team 95-88 for their sixth straight win.

With Ryan Forehan-Kelly lost for the season to an ankle injury and a hungry Foshan team threatening to take the lead the Sharks needed someone to step up and provide some clutch shots.

Young guard Feng Tian delivered with three three-pointers in the fourth, and another youngster Wang Yong added another three to complete his best game of the season and earn a standing ovation from the home crowd.

Old stalwarts Liu Wei and Mike Harris sealed the win. Liu threw up a floater while being grabbed on the wrist which somehow fell into the basket and Harris sank his signature jumper over a hapless defender.

Shanghai head coach Daniel Panaggio was proud of his team.

"They set out to prove the cynics and skeptics wrong today," he said.

Foshan got a sensational effort from center Marcus Douthit who dominated the Sharks inside, fouling out Zhang Zhaoxu and then feasting on his shorter backups. He scored 29 points and had 13 rebounds while drawing 8 fouls.

Syrian Michel Maadanly also played a tough game scoring 21 points, grabbing 10 rebounds.

The Sharks countered by getting five players into double figures led by Mike Harris with 25. Feng had 15 while Wang scored a season-high 14 points. Liu directed the game with 13 points.

Foshan shot 11-21 in the quarter and finished 8 points ahead.

The lead didn't last long as Harris was simply unstoppable in the second quarter hitting all six of his shots and getting to the line totaling 16 straight points.

The Shanghai Sharks won each game of their five-game homestand and are now at 11-8 in the CBA.
