German record champions Bayern Munich showed all their class when they defeated Leverkusen 3-0, remaining the top of Bundesliga on Saturday.

The Bavarians dominated the match from the kickoff consequently youngster striker Thomas Mueller opened the scoring after a buildup play by midfielder Franck Ribery.

With 19 minutes into the match Bayern defender Daniel van Buyten extended the lead to 2-0 when he marked a dead ball goal from 25 meter into bottom left.

Bayern retracted with the lead but Leverkusen failed to overcome Bayern's well-positioned defense. Finally, midfielder and Dutchemn Arjen Robben marked the final 3-0 score at the 90th minute after he was fielded 12 minutes earlier.

Schalke turned a 0-1 deficit to win 4-2 against Freiburg for their former coach Ralf Rangnick who suddenly resigned due to burnout.

Dortmund showed will when they earned a last minute victory thanks to defender Lukasz Piszczek and shorthanded Wolfsburg craved out a neat 1-0 victory.

In a varying match Schalke defeated Freiburg 4-2 thanks to a good performance during second half. Freiburg shocked the host with only two minutes into the match as striker Papiss Demba Cisse opened the scoring after a failed clearance attempt.

Defending champions Dortmund inflicted Mainz a last minute defeat as defender Lukasz Piszczek hammered home the winner from 30 meters. Mainz shocked the defending champions at the 32nd minute as youngster Nicolai Mueller slotted home while lying on the back.

Dortmund remained incapable to level the score within the first half. With beginning of the second half Dortmund piled on the pressure when they equalized the score at the 63rd minute an Ivan Perisic netted with a left footed shot from outside the penalty area.

Dortmund's good actions were rewarded as Piszczek netted a magnificent winner to flabbergast idealess Mainz.

Shorthanded Wolfsburg craved out a 1-0 victory over Kaiserslautern. Wolfsburg defender Sotirios Kyrgiakos ensured the first highlight of the match when he committed a professional foul to book a straight red card just before break.
