The Guangzhou 2010 Asian Games flame continued its tour in Foshan city on Thursday, a day before it makes its last stop in the host city.

The relay in Foshan, the hometown of martial arts legend Bruce Lee, was well-supported by the media and local people due to participation of Kuang Yongshao, the oldest torchbearer in Asian Games history.

Kuang, 104, accompanied by his son, said he could have run more after finishing his 50-meter effort.

"I felt very easy. I will take the torch back home for my collection," he told the China Daily.

Kuang was born in the Shanshui district of Foshan, which is widely known as China's fountain of youth. The district has about 80 people of more than 100 years of age.

Hu Xiaoyan, who became the first migrant worker to attend the National People's Congress (NPC) in 2008, said her participation in the relay was not an honor for herself but all migrant workers.

"It is like receiving positive feedback after you finish a job," she said.

Hu, 36, who was born in Sichuan province, became an NPC deputy in 2008 after working in Foshan, one of the main manufacturing cities in the Pearl River Delta region, for 12 years.

Hu, together with about 90 migrant workers in the Pearl River Delta region, has been invited to attend the Asian Games opening ceremony thanks to the local government's initiative to assist locals throughout the games.

Foshan, one of three co-host cities of the Guangzhou Asian Games, will host the boxing and synchronized swimming competitions.

After the Foshan stop, the torch relay will kick off on Friday in the square in front of the Guangzhou municipal government building. It will ignite the cauldron at the Asian Games opening ceremony on Haixinsha Island on Nov 12.
