Egret paradise

| Small groups of Egrets captured resting in photos published by China.org.cn. They are the unique "residents" of Hongtonggou village in northeastern China's Liaoning province. The egrets have been living peacefully with locals here for 200 years. In 2004, to honor its special residents, which number more than 2000, the community changed its name to "egret village." The village has also been listed as a city level nature reserve. [Photo:China.org.cn] |
