To mark the start of the 100-day countdown to the Beijing Olympic Games, the city will host an art performance on Wednesday.

It will award the best entries selected from the fourth campaign of Olympic songs and musical works. Hundreds of China's top singers will gather at the Award Ceremony to perform the Olympic theme song -"Welcome to Beijing" at the Taimiao ancestral temple Wednesday evening.

At Monday's press conference, the head of BOCOG's Cultural Activities Department, Zhao Dongming, said the list of 30 songs for the Olympics, 10 for the Paralympics, and theme songs for the Olympic Torch Relay and volunteers will all be announced.
