China's Vice Minister of Environmental Protection Wu Xiaoqing said Tuesday in Beijing that foreign embassies' monitoring and issuing of air quality data PM2.5 in China is technically inaccurate and goes against international conventions and Chinese laws, Xinhua reported.

Wu's remarks came in response to some foreign embassies and consulates in China, specifically, the U.S. Embassy in Beijing and the U.S. Consulate General in Shanghai, monitoring local air quality and publishing the results online.

Early this year Beijing began reporting PM2.5.

The Ministry of Environmental Protection has ordered 74 cities to apply a more comprehensive air quality monitoring standard and publish daily reports on PM2.5 by the end of this year.

據(jù)新華社報道，周二，環(huán)保部副部長吳曉青表示，一些外國駐華使領(lǐng)館監(jiān)測并發(fā)布空氣質(zhì)量PM2.5數(shù)據(jù)的做法不嚴(yán)謹(jǐn)不規(guī)范，也不符合國際公約和中國的相關(guān)法規(guī)。

吳曉青嚴(yán)詞回應(yīng)了一些外國駐華使領(lǐng)館，尤其是美國大使館和美國駐上海領(lǐng)事館監(jiān)測并在網(wǎng)上發(fā)布空氣質(zhì)量數(shù)據(jù)。

今年年初，北京開始發(fā)布細(xì)顆粒物（PM2.5）數(shù)據(jù)。

衛(wèi)生部要求，下半年，全國74個城市將發(fā)布包括PM2.5在內(nèi)的更加完整的空氣質(zhì)量指數(shù)。
