| "We are giving visitors a chance to explore a dream-like ice city with all kinds of activities. We hope city dwellers will get a taste of how great life is in a world of ice and snow," said Li Deshan, commissioner-general of the Heilongjiang pavilion. |

| Heilongjiang in China's far northeast is famous for its breath-taking scenery, winter sports and the annual Harbin Ice Sculpture Festival which attracts millions of tourists from all over the world. Winter temperatures can fall to as low as minus 50 degrees Celsius. |
