The ASTV headquarter of Thailand's anti-government People's Alliance for Democracy (PAD) was attacked on early Friday by two bombs and a TV announcer was slightly injured during the blasts.
According to The Nation news network, assailants arrived on a white boat and threw two bombs against the head office on the Phra Arthit Road of Bangkok at about 2 a.m. (1900 GMT).
The explosions shattered the glass windows of the ASTV, and Natthawut Mitmak, a TV announcer, suffered cuts over his hand.
However, after the blasts, ASTV officials would not allow police to enter the compound to investigate.
The report said a guard of the PAD was arrested when police found 6 rounds of 11-mm caliber pistol on him. He said he was shooting back at the assailants when police arrived at the scene so he threw his gun into the river.
It is the second time that the ASTV was under bomb attack by unidentified assailants.
Until Friday morning, the PAD supporters still continue their mass demonstration at two airports of Bangkok, although the Prime Minister Somchai Wongsawat has announced an emergency decree in the areas of both airports on Thursday night.
