Four additional cases were confirmed with A/H1N1 flu on Tuesday in South Korea, local news channel YTN reported, quoting the nation's health authorities..
Four foreign English teachers, one female from Australia and three men from the United States, were found with the virus, health authorities said.
The patients are identified as a 22-year-old Australian woman, a 24-year-old and a 25-year-old American men, along with a male American whose age is unidentified, according to the authorities.
They are now being treated in isolation after they were confirmed with the infection, the authorities added.
Since their arrival in South Korea on May 15 and May 16, the English teachers stayed in the same building, the authorities said.
The total number of patients confirmed with the flu rose to 27 amid heightened worries over the fast spread of the virus.
Earlier in the day, the South Korean government announced its plan to spend 14.6 million U.S. dollars to fight against the new flu.
