A boy releases young crucian carp into the Yongjiang River, one of the principal rivers running through Nanning, with the help of his mother on Tuesday, April 22, 2008. To celebrate the 39th Earth Day, many citizens, including over 1,000 young volunteers, braved the rain to release over 600,000 small fish into the river to replenish the fish supply depleted by the snow disaster earlier this year.
