Since March 14, most districts in Hebei Province have experienced raised temperatures with strong winds. On March 17 the temperature ranged from 25 to 33.2 degrees Celsius in central and southern areas, including Neiqiu County of Xingtai City, where the temperature reached 33.2 degrees Celsius, 10 degrees higher than the previous record at a corresponding date.
According to the Meteorological Bureau of Hebei Province, Shijiazhuang City previously recorded a maximum temperature of 22.2 degrees Celsius on March 17 1981, while the record low of -4.7 degrees Celsius was recorded in 1962.
