Wetland cleanup to benefit Huangpu

Scientists will begin a project next month to restore the natural environment around a wetland area at Dalian Lake in Shanghai?that's been polluted by fish farming.

The fish farms will be banned, and plants and animals will be brought in to improve the ecological balance and water quality of the wetland. The Qingpu District lake is part of the larger Dianshan Lake, which feeds into the Huangpu River.
