The giant icebergs break off from the Jakobshavn glacier. Stretching from the town of Ilulissat to the Greenland Glacier at the length of 60kms, Ilulissat Icefjord is widely considered as one of the most beautiful and fascinating places in the world.

However, it is also one of fastest warming places. From 1992 to now, the glacier has retreated by almost 7km. If the whole Greenland were melt, the global sea level would rise by nearly 7.31 meters.
