Chinese mainland pop diva Han Hong will hold a solo concert in her hometown in Tibet in August. The cost for the concert will exceed 10 million yuan, or about US$1.2 million. 
 
Hong Kong Phoenix Satellite TV, Japan's NHK and a leading American television station have promised to broadcast the live performance.

Guest singers might include famous R&B singer Jay Chou, David Zee Tao from Taiwan and mainland actress Zhao Wei.

Han Hong combines Tibetan and pop influences in her music.
