China has begun construction of its largest wildlife park in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
The park covers 9,000 hectares and costs 360 million yuan ( about US$43.37 million).
It is set in an area of large lakes, deserts, wetland reserves, mountains, bush and reed swamps.
A number of new reserves to protect wild animals, including horses, camels, beavers, swans and Red Deer. A number of tourist facilities will also be built in the park.
