The festival is underway in Jingyuetan Ski Resort, about 16 kilometers from Changchun.
Skiing, ice and snow sculptures and some special winter travel trips to many famous sites like Changbai Mountain are the main attractions of the festival.
Surrounding Jingyue Lake in the middle, the Jingyuetan tourist area is composed of a natural reservoir, the forest park, the Jingyuetan Lake tourist resort and the Jingyuetan Ski Resort.
The ski resort boasts one of the longest skiing slopes in Asia and is famous for its excellent skiing conditions.
How to get there: Flights are available daily between Beijing and Changchun.
After arrival at Changchun, the best way to get Jingyuetan is to rent a taxi (about 30 yuan/US$3.6) one way.
