Weekly Weather Forecast (July 17 to 23)

Northwest China: July 17 to 19, most parts of Xinjiang will have thunderstorms or light to moderate rain, while eastern parts of the region will be dominated by sunny and hot weather with highest temperature up to 37 Celsius degrees. July 19 to 21, most of Gansu, Qinghai and Ningxia will meet showers or thundershowers. July 20 to 23, western and northern Xinjiang will continue to have showers or thundershowers, and eastern parts of the region will also receive precipitation. 

 

North China: July 17 to 18, most parts will receive showers or thundershowers with unbalanced rainfall throughout the region. July 19 to 20, central and northernmost parts will have showers or thundershowers while southern and western parts will have sultry days. July 21 to 23, most of the region will experience another precipitation.

 

Northeast China: July 17 to 19, most of the region will have thundershowers or light to moderate rain, while some of easternmost and southern parts with meet heavy rainfall with short-time strong convective weather. July 20 to 23, most parts will experience another precipitation from west to east with heavier rainfall expected in northernmost and easternmost parts, accompanied by thunder storms, strong winds and even hail in some places. 

 

Central China: July 17 to 18, most sections will receive thundershowers or light to moderate rainfall, while eastern and southwestern Hubei and most of Hunan will get heavy to stormy rain with force 4 to 5 strong winds expected in some of Hunan. July 19 to 20, central and northern sections will be sunny and hot while southern sections will be under cloudy skies with possible showers. July 21 to 23, western and northern regions will see frequent showers or thundershowers.

 

East China: July 17, most sections will have showers while some of central and western Jiangxi and southwestern Fujian will meet moderate to heavy rainfall. July 18 to 19, northern Shandong and the Shandong Peninsula will see showers or thundershowers, while the remainder sections will be sunny with high temperatures. July 20 to 23, northern sections will receive showers or thundershowers, while southern Shandong and northern areas of Jiangsu and Anhui will receive moderate to heavy rainfall with sultry weather in southern sections of the region.

 

South China: July 17 to 19, most sections will have thundershowers or moderate to heavy rainfall with storms possible in some of western and northern sections, while the coastal regions will blow force 5 to 7 strong winds. July 20 to 23, western and southern sections will see more showers while the eastern sections will have the hot and muggy weather.

 

Southwest China: July 17 to 19, most Tibet and southeastern sections of the region will have light to moderate rain or thundershowers while some of Guizhou and southern Yunnan will have heavy to torrential rain. The Sichuan Basin will be under sunny skies with high temperatures. July 20 to 23, most Tibet will have light to moderate rain with heavy rainfall in some areas while eastern sections of the region will receive thundershowers or light to moderate rain.
