Weekly Weather Forecast (June 26 to July 2)

Northwest China: June 26, northern Xinjiang will have showers or light rain and some places in Xinjiang and Gansu will be scorching with temperature rising to 35 Celsius degrees. June 27 to 28, some of eastern sections of the region will meet light to moderate rain or thundershowers with heavy rain expected in some of southern sections, accompanied by occasional lightning storms and strong winds. June 30 to July 2, northern Xinjiang and eastern sections will continue to have light to moderate rain or thundershowers.

 

Northern China: June 26 to 29, frequent showers are expected in the region, normally with thundershowers or light to moderate rain accompanied by occasional lightning storms and strong winds. July 1 to 2, most of the region will continue to see more showers or thundershowers.

 

Northeast China: During the week, the region will see frequent showers. June 26 to 27, most of the region will have thundershowers or light to moderate rain, accompanied by occasional lightning storms and strong winds in some places. June 29 to July 2, most sections will receive thundershowers or light to moderate rain with heavy rain in some areas accompanied by occasional lightning storms, strong winds or hale.

 

Central China: June 26 to 28, most sections will experience light to moderate rain or thundershowers, while some of Henan and Hubei provinces will get heavy rainfall, accompanied by occasional lightning storms and strong winds; in central and southern parts of Hunan temperature will rise to 35 Celsius degrees. June 30 to July 2, central and northern sections will continue to meet light to moderate rain or thundershowers possibly with heavy rain or storms in some of central sections.

 

East China: June 26 to 28, most of the region will see light to moderate rain or thundershowers, while some places in Anhui, Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces will get heavy rain with storms expected in some areas accompanied by occasional lightning storms and strong winds. Central and southern Jiangxi and most of Fujian Province will have high temperatures of over 35 Celsius degrees. June 29 to July 2, areas north of the Yangtze River will continue to meet rains while southern sections of the region will have showers or thundershowers.

 

South China: June 26 to 28, western parts will have showers or thundershowers with high temperatures rising over 35 Celsius degrees in central and eastern parts. June 29 to 30, most of the region will have showers or thundershowers with heavy to stormy rain in some of central parts, accompanied by occasional lightning storms and strong winds. During the remainder days of the week, the region will be dominated by cloudy skies with occasional showers.

 

Southwest China: The region will see more overcast and rainy weather during the week. June 26 to 28, eastern Tibet and eastern sections of the region will have light to moderate rain or thundershowers with heavy rainfall in some places in Sichuan, Chongqing and Guizhou. During the latter half of the week, some of eastern section will continue to meet light to moderate rain with possible heavy rainfall in some places.
