Weekly Weather Forecast (June 5 to 11)

Northwest China: June 5 to 6, affected by streams of cold and warm airs, northern Xinjiang will have light rain, while eastern and southern Qinghai, southern Gansu and southern Shaanxi will meet light to moderate rain with force 4 to 6 northerly winds in northern Xinjiang and western parts of the Hexi Corridor in Gansu Province. June 7 to 8, most of the region will be sunny to cloudy. June 9 to 11, western and northern Xinjiang will receive light to moderate rain. June 10 to 11, southern Qinghai will meet light rain while the remainder parts of the region will be under sunny to cloudy skies.

 

North China: During the earlier days of the week, most of the region will see no rain but with higher temperatures. June 5, most of the region will be sunny to cloudy. June 6 to 7, northernmost parts of the region will have thundershowers or light rain with force 4 to 6 southerly, then northerly winds in eastern Inner Mongolia.  June 9 to 10, the region will experience another rainfall with lower temperatures.

 

Northeast China: June 5, northernmost and easternmost parts will have showers or light rain. June 6 to 7, most of the region will meet thundershowers or light to moderate rain with force 4 to 6 southerly winds, accompanied by strong winds and lightning storms. June 9 to 11, most of the region will experience another precipitation as well as lower temperatures.

 

Central China: Southern parts of the region will see more overcast and rainy days during the week. June 5 to 8, northern parts will be sunny to cloudy with higher temperatures; central and southern parts will have moderate to heavy rain with storms expected in some of southern Hubei and central and northern Hunan, accompanied by occasional thunderstorms and strong winds. June 9 to 11, southern parts will continue to receive heavy rainfall while northern parts will be sunny to overcast with possible showers or thundershowers.

 

East China: Southern sections will see more rainy weather during the week. June 5 to 8, areas north of the Huaihe River will be sunny to cloudy with higher temperatures; areas south of the Yangtze-Huaihe rivers and areas south of the Yangtze River will have thundershowers or moderate to heavy rain with heavy to stormy rainfall expected in some of central and northern Jiangxi, northern Fujian and Zhejiang. June 9 to 11, northern sections will be dominated by sunny to cloudy skies with occasional showers or thundershowers, while southern sections will continue to meet moderate to heavy rainfall with rainstorms in some places.

 

South China: June 5, most of the region will be dominated by cloudy skies. June 6 to 8, most of the region will have thundershowers or light to moderate rain with possible heavy rain in some places. June 9 to 11, most sections will continue to see overcast and rainy weather while some of Guangxi and central and southern Guangdong will receive heavy rain or storms accompanied by occasional lightning storms and strong winds.

 

Southwest China: June 5 to 7, central and eastern Tibet and eastern sections of the region will have showers or light to moderate rain, while Chongqing, Guizhou and some of southern Sichuan will meet heavy rainfall. June 8 to 9, although the intensities of rainfall will be weakening, most of the region will continue to have showers or light rain, while some of eastern sections will meet moderate or heavy rain. June 10 to 11, most of the region will experience strong rainfall.
