The second day of the Spring Festival golden week is stable on the whole, with folk customs travel rising to a climax. The No.2 travel information circular for Spring Festival golden week published by China's national holiday tourism inter-department coordination conference office published on the 30th released the information.

From information supplied by various local sources, short-haul travel has been warming up, especially popular are folk customs tourism as well as "farm family tour" around urban peripheries. Temple fairs and garden tours in various locations attracted huge crowds and created a very festive atmosphere. On the whole, travel activities in various places took place safely, orderly and stably.

In Beijing, various districts conducted folk customs tourism activities full of color and local flavor. Farm family compounds around Tianjin's Panshan Mountain Scenic Spot and Maojia Valley welcomed their second tourist arrival peak today. The 8th Spring Festival temple fair held at Jilin's Northern Hill Park attracted a large gathering. Many residents in Harbin began to leave their homes to tour parks and scenic areas, these being the fashionable things to do during the Spring Festival.

This Spring Festival in Shanghai, the new hotspots that attracted large number of urban families to visit are the suburban scenic spots full of bucolic fields and gardens. The once-a-year Confucius temple lantern festival opened to large crowds and will continue until the 18th day of the first month of the lunar new year. In Suzhou, various types of travel continue to be on the rise, soon to reach a climax. Hangzhou today witnessed crowds so large that certain areas of the city were barely passable.

Wuhan's folk custom activities this year are very popular with tourists. Chongqing invested a million  yuan to create "dragon culture" that will soon create "first Chinese Dragon" in Guinness World Records. Chengdu promoted 13 tourist routes in rural areas with the theme of "new farming experience in Chengdu's new rural socialism."
