The Hong Kong Observatory recently included Pingzhou, a place near the Disneyland, into its district weather forecast website, in order to make people well informed of the weather condition near the theme park.

Director of the Hong Kong Observatory Mr. Lam Chiuying said he hoped the new service would make tourists traveling to Pingzhou and Lantau Island get the latest weather information.

The information includes the temperature, relative humidity, wind speed and direction. It also provides real time photos.

Executive director of the Travel Industry Council of Hong Kong Mr. Joseph Tung said the district weather forecast website was a great help to Hong Kong’s tourism industry. The website has already included many local tourist attractions into its weather forecast service.
