New Xiushui Market to Open This Week

The new Xiushui market will open officially on March 19th. Yesterday, the developer promised that goods sold in the new Xiushui would cost substantially less than those sold in the old Xiushui.

On the 19th, the subway leading to the new Xiushui will open officially and visitors will not have to leave the station to get to the market; rather, they will be able to walk directly in.

It has been reported that, in order to add to the attraction of the new Xiushui, merchants will advertise surprisingly low prices in the first week after opening.

The developer also said that low prices will never mean inferior products being sold at the Beijing establishment.

Starting this year, the new Xiushui and Beijing Capital Tourism Group have created exciting new tourist routes that include the market.

The developer of the new Xiushui added that because of this joint effort, the number of visitors to the new Xiushui would increase by four to five million every year.

In order to make it convenient for foreign visitors to go shopping, the China Banking Regulatory Commission gave special approval to the new Xiushui, allowing household businesses to be the first to accept foreign currency payment by credit card.
