A special release ceremony will be held Wednesday morning in Beijing to promote some unique Olympic souvenirs---the miniature models of the Bird's Nest, the main stadium of the upcoming 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.

The Bird's Nest models include three types, the big, medium and small ones. But what makes them special is that both the big and medium-sized models have been purely made from "Olympic steel" left over from the construction of the real Bird's Nest, and are thus limited editions.
The models accurately show the structure and facilities inside the huge nest, including entrance ways, stairs, stands and the field. It comes in two colors, golden and silver.
The price of the small, medium and big models ranges from 900 to 4,000 yuan, or about US$120 to 531.
