Russian Minister of Defense Sergei Ivanov arrived in Beijing Tuesday evening for a four-day visit to China.  

Ivanov pays the visit at the invitation of Chinese Minister of National Defense Cao Gangchuan who is also vice chairman of the Central Military Commission and a state councilor.

This is the third visit by Ivanov to China.
