The Fifth Asian-Pacific Regional Anti-corruption Conference opened in Beijing Wednesday.

A total of 184 representatives from 36 countries and regions in Asian-Pacific region, officials with the Chinese central government and provincial departments of supervision attended the meeting.

State Councilor Hua Jianmin delivered a speech at the conference.
