How to get there:

From Shanghai:

Hongkou Stadium: approx. 2.5 hours, 110 yuan (includes the trough ticket)

Shanghai Stadium: approx. 3 hours, 110 yuan (includes the trough ticket)

From Suzhou:

The Railway Station Square: 06:40-17:15 (every half hour); 6 yuan

Wuzhong District Bus Station: 07:00-17:00 (every 15 minutes); 6 yuan

From Zhouzhuang:

A mini-bus leaves for Tongli every half an hour. It sets off from the bridge on the eastern most point of Zhouzhuang. A taxi would take you 20 minutes and cost you approx. 40 yuan. Other options include motorbike (10 yuan), or boat (30 yuan).

Hotels:

Shide Hotel and Tonglihu Holiday Village are the more popular hotels here. Riverside hotels are a big attraction, and some are reasonably priced.
