Over a thousand pieces of art works are on display in the museum. The connotations of horse culture are fully demonstrated through characters and pictures in the areas of literature and the historical materials.
The brief introduction to the horse raising history in China, the poetry to laud the horses, the idioms about horses, the imperial horse of Emperor Liu Che, ancient Chinese troops and horses, famous horses paintings created in past dynasties will help you understand the time-honored and profound history of the horse culture in China.
In the area of famous paintings, masterpieces on horses created by thirteen painters at home and abroad are on exhibition. In the areas of British culture, American Culture, and Mongolian Grassland culture, you could get to know horse cultures at different backgrounds. In the area of photography, classic works of the world top horsemanship photographers make wonderful instants eternal history.
There is also a regular exhibition on the unique collections and art works owned by some people keen on horse cultures, such as the horse sculptures, horse handicrafts, living necessities for horse, horse pokers, horse stamps, horse-shaped wine cups and horse matchbox pictures etc.

Bus Route: Take Bus No.919 at Deshengmen to the stop of Xibazi, and then take a taxi ( 10 Yuan) to the Rose Valley
Self-driving Route: Drive from Madian Bridge onto the Badaling Expressway straight forward, and then off the expressway at Exit 18 (Yingchengzi Exit). Drive to the south when seeing the first intersection, five minutes later you will see a culvert. Cross under the culvert, and drive on the subsidiary way to southwest, soon you will see the big torii of the Rose Valley.
Admission Fee: 30 Yuan, The students and seniors pay half of the ticket price by showing their cards. The student group, the seniors, the disabled and the army men are exempt from charge by showing relevant proofs.
