Hua Jianmin, born in January 1940, native of Wuxi, Jiangsu Province.

Joined the Communist Party of China (CPC) in May 1961; began to work in October 1963; graduated from gas turbine major of Power and Dynamics Department of Tsinghua University; senior engineer.

1957-1963: Student of Power and Dynamics Department of Tsinghua University, majoring in gas turbine.
