President of the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Football Association, the Real Estate Developers Association of Hong Kong; chairman of Henry Fok Estates Ltd. and the Yau Wing Co. of Hong Kong.

Member of the Drafting Committee for the Basic Law of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (SAR); vice chairman of the Preliminary Working Committee of Preparatory Committee of the Hong Kong SAR; vice chairman of the Preparatory Committee of Hong Kong SAR.

Vice chairman of CPPCC National Committee since March 1993.

Standing Committee member of 5th and 6th CPPCC National Committee and vice chairman of 8th and 9th CPPCC National Committee.
