From April 23 to June 11, 1945, the Seventh National Congress of the Communist Party of China was convened in Yan?an. The Party?s political line adopted at the congress was to boldly mobilize the masses and expand the people?s forces so that, under the leadership of the Party, they would defeat the Japanese aggressors and build a new China.
