Rangers will protect the Tibetan antelopes that are giving birth to their young against poaching and illegal hunting and the attacks of their natural enemy in the heartland of Huhxil.

The authorities of the Huhxil national nature reserve administration organized rangers to clear the migratory way of the antelopes from the south and the north. The work had already been done on July 3.
The rangers also helped with those antelopes that were separated from their mother.
Now there is a concentration of about 30,000 female antelopes in the heartland of Huhxil and more are coming. 50 percent of the female antelopes have begun to give birth and the survival rate of the young was about 80 percent. More than 1,000 antelopes are crossing the Qinghai-Tibetan Railway in the east and more are waiting to cross.
