The insular Hainan in south China makes great efforts to expand the growing amount of vegetables and fruits and deliver to the snow-stricken areas in China to meet the needs of the market. At the present, about 800 trucks carrying fresh food depart everyday from Hainan, a main source of fresh vegetables and fruits during winter time in China.
