White-colored blue fox turns up in Zhejiang
Adjust font size:

A pure white fox recently surprised onlookers in the snow-covered Lin'an scenic area of eastern China's Zhejiang Province.

A white-colored blue fox in a snow-covered Lin'an scenic area in eastern China's Zhejiang Province on February 1.

Website Zhejiang Online reports that staff at the scenic area were amazed to find the fox because white foxes had never before been seen in the area.

The fox was preliminarily identified by photo as a blue fox and was probably brought from outside the scenic area.

According to experts, blue foxes live and are artificially bred in the north but wild blue foxes don't exist in Zhejiang Province. This breed of blue fox is a mutation of the arctic fox.

The fox has been temporarily adopted by the scenic area.
