It's easy being green as airport project takes off

The Pudong International Airport's second phase of construction is expected to be an environmentally-friendly air traffic hub designed to slash energy consumption to half of what was envisaged in the original design, Shanghai Daily reported.

The airport's energy-saving project scheme passed the Shanghai Science and Technology Commission's expert assessment on Saturday.
