New Home for Rare and Endangered Species
Adjust font size:

Two researchers are conserving rare plant species found around the Three Gorges Reservoir in a laboratory in Yichang City of Hubei Province in central China. A resource bank which includes plants, seed and gene databases has been established to protect the rare and endangered plant species which thrive around the Three Gorges Reservoir. A material library of these species has also been established.
