- Spring into 2008
The Yanhuang Art Museum is ringing in 2008 with a collection of New Year's paintings to be displayed until the end of Spring Festival. The exhibits, which include depictions of deities, auspicious figures, fairytales, farm work and opera scenes, showcase the rich variety and imaginative presentations of the ancient art genre.

China Minsheng Banking Corp., Ltd. (CMBC) announced that they would officially manage the Yan-Huang Art Museum at a press conference held on December 11. He Juxing, the Brand Image Department Manager of CMBC, will also act as curator of the art museum concurrently.

- Chinese painting sells for record US$10.7m
A record price for a Chinese painting was set yesterday when a Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) handscroll was auctioned off in Beijing for 79.52 million yuan (US$10.7 million). The Red Cliff Handscroll by Qiu Ying (1494-1552), an artist from Suzhou in Jiangsu Province, came from a private collector on the mainland.
