Hot fields such as game design and 3D animation have become part of the modern college curriculum. On Tuesday Beijing Technology & Business University officially established a digital content college, the first of its kind in China.

The college would give prominence to a new educational philosophy that combines selection, education, training and application. It introduces professional educational plans and materials from abroad, and cultivates senior technical talent in fields such as game design, 3D animation and multi-media system design, to meet the demands of a variety of projects.

The college offers three majors: digital entertainment, digital technology and digital management. Zhang Lusheng, a senior IT specialist in Taiwan will serve as Dean of the college.
