Maintain Global Vision
"We must maintain global vision," read a sentence in the report to the 20th CPC National Congress, providing a succinct summary of the world outlook and methodology of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. The sentence highlights the global vision and sense of global responsibility of Communist China. It has roots in the ancient Chinese view of the world and order of things. In the traditional Chinese worldview, the difference between self and others was similar to civilized and uncivilized. Therefore, when navigating relations between itself and the outside world, Chinese civilization adheres to the basic prioritization of culture over race and sees the world as above the country, rating global harmony as the loftiest ideal. This makes China's world outlook very inclusive, open, diverse, and tolerant.
Chinese communists have creatively transformed traditional experiences and wisdom into Chinese solutions for improving global governance. They advocate "seeking common ground while setting aside differences," "harmony without uniformity," "harmony among all nations," and "great unity of the world" when building the world order. They actively respond to the common concerns of the people of all countries and strive to contribute Chinese wisdom and strength to resolving the various problems facing humankind.
堅(jiān)持胸懷天下
“必須堅(jiān)持胸懷天下”是中共二十大報(bào)告對(duì)習(xí)近平新時(shí)代中國特色社會(huì)主義思想世界觀和方法論的高度凝練，充分彰顯中國共產(chǎn)黨人的天下胸懷與世界擔(dān)當(dāng)。天下觀是中國古老的世界觀與秩序觀。在傳統(tǒng)天下觀中，自我與他者的區(qū)別是開化與未開化之別。因此，中華文明在處理自身與外部世界關(guān)系時(shí)，秉持文化高于種族、天下高于國家的基本理念， 把天下大同作為終極理想。這就決定了中國的天下觀具有非常強(qiáng)的包容性、開放性、多元性與兼容性。
中國共產(chǎn)黨人繼承傳統(tǒng)天下觀的文明包容性、多樣性、開放性精神，把傳統(tǒng)天下體系的經(jīng)驗(yàn)和智慧創(chuàng)造性地轉(zhuǎn)化為“全球治理”的中國方案，在國際秩序建構(gòu)上堅(jiān)持求同存異、和而不同、協(xié)和萬邦、世界大同的理念，積極回應(yīng)各國人民普遍關(guān)切，努力為解決人類面臨的共同問題貢獻(xiàn)中國智慧和中國力量。
