The World Internet Conference
The World Internet Conference (WIC) is an internet-themed event introduced by China and held annually in Wuzhen, Tongxiang, in Jiaxing City of Zhejiang Province. It is an exchange platform for cutting-edge internet technology and avant-garde ideas. Since 2014, the Wuzhen Summit has been held for nine consecutive years with more than 1,000 representatives from about 80 countries and regions participating every year. On July 12, 2022, the WIC international organization was officially inaugurated with an aim to build a global internet platform for joint consultation and contribution to encourage the international community to apply digital, networking, and intelligent technologies in the information era towards jointly meeting security challenges, seeking joint development, and working together to build a community with a shared future in cyberspace.
Cyberspace is a common space for human activities. The future of cyberspace should be jointly determined by all countries. The WIC will maintain its mission of "jointly building a community with a shared future in cyberspace." Alongside all countries, regions, and forces working in the internet sector, it will promote digital technology cooperation, improve governance of the digital environment, share the dividends of the digital economy, build consensus, and contribute to construction of a peaceful, safe, open, and cooperative cyberspace.
世界互聯(lián)網(wǎng)大會(huì)
世界互聯(lián)網(wǎng)大會(huì)是由中國倡導(dǎo)，每年在浙江省嘉興市桐鄉(xiāng)烏鎮(zhèn)舉辦的世界性互聯(lián)網(wǎng)盛會(huì)，是全球互聯(lián)網(wǎng)最新技術(shù)和前沿思想的交流平臺(tái)。自2014年起，世界互聯(lián)網(wǎng)大會(huì)烏鎮(zhèn)峰會(huì)已連續(xù)成功舉辦9年，每年都有來自約80個(gè)國家和地區(qū)的千余名代表參會(huì)。2022年7月12日，世界互聯(lián)網(wǎng)大會(huì)國際組織正式成立，旨在搭建全球互聯(lián)網(wǎng)共商共建共享平臺(tái)，推動(dòng)國際社會(huì)順應(yīng)信息時(shí)代數(shù)字化、網(wǎng)絡(luò)化、智能化趨勢(shì)，共迎安全挑戰(zhàn)，共謀發(fā)展福祉，攜手構(gòu)建網(wǎng)絡(luò)空間命運(yùn)共同體。
網(wǎng)絡(luò)空間是人類共同的活動(dòng)空間，網(wǎng)絡(luò)空間前途命運(yùn)應(yīng)由世界各國共同掌握。世界互聯(lián)網(wǎng)大會(huì)將“攜手構(gòu)建網(wǎng)絡(luò)空間命運(yùn)共同體”作為一以貫之的主題，同世界各國各地區(qū)和互聯(lián)網(wǎng)領(lǐng)域各方力量一道，推動(dòng)數(shù)字技術(shù)合作，完善數(shù)字環(huán)境治理，共享數(shù)字經(jīng)濟(jì)紅利，為推動(dòng)建設(shè)和平、安全、開放、合作的網(wǎng)絡(luò)空間凝聚共識(shí)、貢獻(xiàn)力量。
