Spreading Knowledge of National Resources and the Environment
Helping the public learn more about national resources and the environment can encourage them to participate in building an eco-civilization.
Topics such as resource conservation, environmental protection and sustainable development will be included in textbooks and educational programs for the general public. Platforms for related demonstrations and communication need to be built, and environmental education bases should provide immersive or interactive education to train green citizens.
Themed activities will be held on World Earth Day, World Environment Day, World Forest Day, World Oceans Day, World Water Day, World Wetlands Day, and International Day for Biological Diversity.
Traditional media and new media will play their part in helping the public understand the true condition of China's natural resources, and learn about relevant laws and regulations on environmental protection. They can also urge government departments and enterprises to keep the public informed of the latest developments concerning the discharge of pollutants and the quality of various environments, thus ensuring the public's right to know and creating favorable conditions for green ways of living and production.

加強(qiáng)資源環(huán)境國(guó)情宣傳，要把資源節(jié)約、環(huán)境保護(hù)、可持續(xù)發(fā)展納入教材，作為全民教育、素質(zhì)教育、全程教育和終身教育的內(nèi)容。要建立綠色生活宣傳和展示平臺(tái)，利用環(huán)境教育基地，開(kāi)展以生活方式綠色化為主題的浸入式、互動(dòng)式教育，培養(yǎng)綠色公民。要利用世界環(huán)境日、地球日、森林日、水日、海洋日、生物多樣性日、濕地日等節(jié)日集中組織開(kāi)展環(huán)保主題宣傳活動(dòng)。要充分發(fā)揮傳統(tǒng)媒體和新興媒體的作用，廣泛宣傳資源環(huán)境國(guó)情和環(huán)境保護(hù)法律法規(guī)。要督促政府有關(guān)部門(mén)和企業(yè)及時(shí)準(zhǔn)確披露各類環(huán)境質(zhì)量和環(huán)境污染物信息，保障公眾知情權(quán)，為推進(jìn)生活方式綠色化營(yíng)造良好輿論氛圍。
