The Chinese Dream
Xi Jinping first explained his vision of the Chinese Dream of national rejuvenation in November 2012, when visiting the exhibition "The Path to National Rejuvenation." He pointed out that national rejuvenation has been the greatest dream of the Chinese people in modern times.
In essence, the Chinese Dream is a commitment to bringing prosperity and happiness to the country, the nation and the people. It is a dream of our country, our nation, and our people. It is the shared aspiration of each and every Chinese and reflects the overall interests of the nation. It is an inclusive dream for all, with the people playing a major role in its realization. The effort to realize the Chinese Dream will be meaningful only if it accords with the Chinese people's desire for a better life. This aspiration is the mission of the CPC.
To make the dream come true, China must follow its own path to development, elevate the Chinese spirit, and boost national cohesion. The path is Chinese socialism, the spirit is based on patriotism and innovation, and the cohesion comes from ethnic solidarity.
China will strive to complete the building of a moderately prosperous society by 2021, when the CPC celebrates its centenary, and to become a great modern socialist country that is prosperous, strong, democratic, culturally advanced, harmonious and beautiful by 2049, when the People's Republic marks its centenary. The Chinese Dream of national rejuvenation will definitely come true.
The Chinese Dream is a dream of peace, development, cooperation and prosperity for all, benefiting not only the Chinese people but also the people of other countries. Its realization will bring about peace, not turmoil, and opportunities, not threats, to the rest of the world. The Chinese people are willing to provide mutual support and help other peoples during the course of realizing their own dreams, and China is willing to share its development experience and opportunities with others for common development and a good life for all.
To realize the Chinese Dream is a solemn promise the CPC Central Committee with Xi Jinping at the core has made to the whole nation. It is a political statement that embodies the historical responsibility and mission of the CPC and the state. It constitutes an important part of upholding and developing Chinese socialism in the new era.
中國夢
2012年11月，習近平在參觀《復興之路》展覽時發表講話，首次提出中國夢。他指出，實現中華民族偉大復興，就是中華民族近代以來最偉大的夢想。
中國夢的本質是國家富強、民族振興、人民幸福。中國夢是國家的夢、民族的夢，也是每一個中國人的夢。國家、民族、個人在實現中國夢中相互依賴、相互依存，體現了中華民族和中國人民的整體利益，體現了中華民族的“家國天下”情懷，表達了每一個中華兒女的共同愿望。中國夢具有廣泛的包容性，是中華民族團結奮斗的最大公約數和最大同心圓。人民是中國夢的主體，是中國夢的創造者和享有者。中國夢只有同中國人民對美好生活的向往結合起來才能取得成功。人民對美好生活的向往就是中國共產黨的奮斗目標。
實現中國夢必須走中國道路，這就是中國特色社會主義道路；必須弘揚中國精神，這就是以愛國主義為核心的民族精神、以改革創新為核心的時代精神；必須凝聚中國力量，這就是中國各族人民大團結的力量。中國到2021年中國共產黨成立100年時全面建成小康社會，到2049年中華人民共和國成立100年時建成富強民主文明和諧美麗的社會主義現代化強國，中華民族偉大復興的夢想一定能實現。
中國夢是和平、發展、合作、共贏的夢，不僅造福中國人民，也同各國人民的美好夢想息息相通。實現中國夢給世界帶來的是和平，不是動蕩；是機遇，不是威脅。中國人民愿意同世界各國人民在實現各自夢想的過程中相互支持、相互幫助，中國愿意將自身發展經驗和機遇同世界各國分享，實現共同發展，讓大家一起過上好日子。
實現中華民族偉大復興的中國夢，這是以習近平同志為核心的中共中央對全體人民的莊嚴承諾，是黨和國家面向未來的政治宣言，充分體現了中國共產黨高度的歷史擔當和使命追求，為新時代堅持和發展中國特色社會主義注入嶄新內涵。
