Building a Community with a Shared Future for Humanity
There is only one earth for all countries to share and live on. Humanity is a global community with a shared future.
In his speech at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations in March 2013, Xi Jinping for the first time put forward the idea of "a community with a shared future." He subsequently elaborated on this idea on several occasions, creating a complete and profound concept.
The essence of this vision is, as stated in the report to the 19th CPC National Congress, to "build an open, inclusive, clean, and beautiful world that enjoys lasting peace, universal security, and common prosperity."
To build a community with a shared future for humanity calls for concrete actions. China has advocated that the international community promote a common approach to partnership, the security landscape, economic development, cultural exchanges and eco-environmental conservation.
China has called on all countries to:
?respect each other, discuss issues as equals, reject the Cold War mentality and power politics, and take a new approach to developing state-to-state relations through communication not confrontation, and in partnerships not alliances;
?settle disputes through dialog and resolve differences through discussion, coordinate responses to traditional and non-traditional threats, and oppose terrorism in all its forms;
?stick together through thick and thin, liberalize and facilitate trade and investment, and make economic globalization more open, inclusive, and balanced so that its benefits are shared by all;
?respect the diversity of civilizations and replace estrangement with exchange, cultural clashes with mutual learning, and a sense of superiority with an acceptance of coexistence in handling relations among civilizations; and
?be good friends to the environment, protect our planet for the sake of human survival, and build a beautiful world with harmony among all creatures.
Building a community with a shared future for humanity has been written into the Constitution of the CPC and the amended Constitution of the PRC, thus becoming the will of the Party and the state. As a key component of Xi Jinping thought on foreign affairs, it has become a component of China's foreign policy in the new era and in developing socialism with Chinese characteristics. It reflects China's global vision and sense of responsibility as a major country in integrating its own development with that of the rest of the world.
Building a community with a shared future for humanity is a Chinese approach to enhancing people's lives that supports the trends of the times. It embodies the aspirations for peace, development and prosperity of all peoples around the world. It is the shared goal of all humanity, and represents the basic interests of all peoples. Transcending the differences between various political systems and discarding the zero-sum mentality, this approach leads to a global community of different countries, nations and civilizations.

構建人類命運共同體
人類只有一個地球，各國共處一個世界。人類是休戚與共的命運共同體。2013年3月，習近平在訪問俄羅斯期間，首次向世界提出“命運共同體”理念。此后，他在不同場合對構建人類命運共同體進行了重要闡述，形成了科學完整、內涵豐富、意義深遠的思想體系。其核心就是中共十九大報告所指出的“建設持久和平、普遍安全、共同繁榮、開放包容、清潔美麗的世界”。
構建人類命運共同體，關鍵在行動。中國倡議國際社會從伙伴關系、安全格局、經濟發展、文明交流、生態建設等方面作出努力。政治上，相互尊重、平等協商，堅決摒棄冷戰思維和強權政治，走對話而不對抗、結伴而不結盟的國與國交往新路。安全上，堅持以對話解決爭端、以協商化解分歧，統籌應對傳統和非傳統安全威脅，反對一切形式的恐怖主義。經濟上，同舟共濟，促進貿易和投資自由便利化，推動經濟全球化朝著更加開放、包容、普惠、平衡、共贏的方向發展。文明上，尊重世界文明多樣性，以文明交流超越文明隔閡、文明互鑒超越文明沖突、文明共存超越文明優越。生態上，堅持環境友好，保護好地球家園，建設萬物和諧的美麗世界。
推動構建人類命運共同體，被寫入《中國共產黨章程》和《中華人民共和國憲法修正案》，成為黨和國家的意志。這一理念作為習近平外交思想的核心和精髓，成為新時代堅持和發展中國特色社會主義的外交方略，體現了中國將自身發展同世界發展相統一的全球視野、世界胸懷和大國擔當。
構建人類命運共同體，是順應歷史潮流、增進人類福祉的中國方案。這一方案匯聚著世界各國人民對和平、發展、繁榮向往的最大公約數，反映了人類社會的共同價值追求，符合中國人民和世界人民的根本利益。這一方案超越不同制度的分歧，摒棄零和博弈的思維，形成不同國家、不同民族、不同文明的共同奮斗方向。構建人類命運共同體已被多次寫入聯合國文件，正在從理念轉化為行動，產生日益廣泛而深遠的國際影響。
