A Center of Guitar Manufacturing
Zheng'an County of Guizhou Province is a center of guitar manufacturing in China. Every year, it sells 6 million guitars to more than 40 countries and regions in the world. It also makes guitars for the world's top ten guitar brands including Fender, Ibanez, and Tagima.
This small county is located in the mountains at the junction of the Dalou Mountains and the Wuling Mountains, but it is one of the largest guitar manufacturing centers in the world. Here, you can witness the birth of a guitar, the transformation of a remote mountain town, and the growth of an industry. The boom in guitar manufacturing has allowed tens of thousands of farmers to work near their home, instead of having to find jobs in coastal areas that are thousands of miles away.
The growth of the county's guitar industry is an epitome of Guizhou's leapfrogging. The first guitar company emerged here in 2013 and the county became one of the world's guitar manufacturing centers in just a few years. There are now 98 guitar manufacturers and related businesses. 貴州省正安縣被稱為“中國吉他制造之鄉”,年產銷吉他高達600萬把,銷往全球40多個國家和地區。世界十大吉他品牌芬達、依斑娜、塔吉瑪等也委托這個吉他王國代為加工生產。
