政治優(yōu)勢(shì)
堅(jiān)持黨的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)，發(fā)揮社會(huì)主義制度可以集中力量辦大事的優(yōu)勢(shì)，這是中國(guó)的最大政治優(yōu)勢(shì)。實(shí)現(xiàn)貧困人口如期脫貧，是中國(guó)共產(chǎn)黨向全國(guó)人民作出的鄭重承諾。責(zé)任重于泰山，各級(jí)黨委和政府必須不辱使命。
推進(jìn)脫貧攻堅(jiān)工作，要堅(jiān)持把人民利益放在首位，各級(jí)領(lǐng)導(dǎo)干部要從鞏固黨執(zhí)政的階級(jí)基礎(chǔ)和群眾基礎(chǔ)、保持黨同人民群眾血肉聯(lián)系的高度出發(fā)，增強(qiáng)推進(jìn)脫貧攻堅(jiān)工作的使命感和責(zé)任感。要充分發(fā)揮政治優(yōu)勢(shì)，形成推進(jìn)脫貧攻堅(jiān)工作的強(qiáng)大合力。脫貧攻堅(jiān)工作，是中國(guó)共產(chǎn)黨的歷史使命，是各級(jí)黨委、政府和各部門一把手的職責(zé)。實(shí)施黨政一把手脫貧攻堅(jiān)工作責(zé)任制、脫貧攻堅(jiān)期內(nèi)保持貧困縣黨政正職穩(wěn)定、開(kāi)展東西部扶貧協(xié)作和機(jī)關(guān)定點(diǎn)扶貧、向貧困村派駐第一書記和駐村工作隊(duì)等行之有效的措施，必須繼續(xù)堅(jiān)持，不斷提高水平。
Political Strengths
CPC leadership and the efficiency of socialism in pooling resources to solve major problems - these are the biggest political strengths of China. To raise all poor population out of poverty as planned is a solemn promise made by the CPC to the whole Chinese nation. Taking on weighty responsibilities, Party committees and governments at all levels must live up to the expectations of the people.
In China's poverty elimination campaign, the interests of the people are placed first. For the purpose of consolidating the class foundation, achieving popular support for the CPC's governance, and maintaining its close ties with the people, officials are required to have a greater sense of mission and responsibility in their work, give play to the political strengths of the system, and build synergy in poverty elimination.
As poverty elimination is the historic mission undertaken by the CPC, the "first-in-commands" of Party committees and governments and their departments at every level are responsible for poverty elimination under their jurisdiction. During the critical phase of the battle against poverty in impoverished counties, county Party committee secretaries and county mayors will remain steadfast in their posts. Eastern areas are paired up with areas in the west in cooperative programs, and central departments have designated targets of assistance. First Party secretaries and resident working teams have been dispatched to poor villages to help with the poverty alleviation work. These measures have been followed and proved effective in China's poverty alleviation effort.
