Building a Community with a Shared Future for Humanity
Since the 18th CPC National Congress held in 2012, Xi Jinping has elaborated on the idea of building a community with a shared future for humanity on more than 100 occasions at home and abroad, from the perspective of progress of human society and with the far-sighted vision of a major-country leader.
In his report to the 19th CPC National Congress, Xi called on the people of all countries to work together to build a community with a shared future for humanity, and an open, inclusive, clean, and beautiful world that enjoys lasting peace, universal security, and common prosperity. We should respect each other, discuss issues as equals, reject the Cold War mentality and power politics, and take a new approach to developing state-to-state relations through communication instead of confrontation, and partnership instead of antagonistic blocs. We should commit to settling disputes through dialogue and resolving differences through discussion, coordinate responses to traditional and non-traditional threats, and combat terrorism in all its forms.
We should work together to liberalize and facilitate trade and investment, and make economic globalization more open, inclusive, and balanced so that its benefits are shared by all. We should respect the diversity of civilizations. In handling relations among civilizations, we wish to replace mistrust with exchange, clashes with mutual learning, and a false sense of superiority with coexistence. We should be good friends to the environment, cooperate to tackle climate change, and protect our planet for the sake of human survival.
構(gòu)建人類命運(yùn)共同體
黨的十八大以來(lái)，習(xí)近平總書記站在人類歷史發(fā)展進(jìn)程的高度，以大國(guó)領(lǐng)袖的責(zé)任擔(dān)當(dāng)高瞻遠(yuǎn)矚，在國(guó)際國(guó)內(nèi)重要場(chǎng)合先后100多次提及人類命運(yùn)共同體。黨的十九大報(bào)告提出，各國(guó)人民同心協(xié)力，構(gòu)建人類命運(yùn)共同體，建設(shè)持久和平、普遍安全、共同繁榮、開(kāi)放包容、清潔美麗的世界。要相互尊重、平等協(xié)商，堅(jiān)決摒棄冷戰(zhàn)思維和強(qiáng)權(quán)政治，走對(duì)話而不對(duì)抗、結(jié)伴而不結(jié)盟的國(guó)與國(guó)交往新路。要堅(jiān)持以對(duì)話解決爭(zhēng)端、以協(xié)商化解分歧，統(tǒng)籌應(yīng)對(duì)傳統(tǒng)和非傳統(tǒng)安全威脅，反對(duì)一切形式的恐怖主義。要同舟共濟(jì)，促進(jìn)貿(mào)易和投資自由化便利化，推動(dòng)經(jīng)濟(jì)全球化朝著更加開(kāi)放、包容、普惠、平衡、共贏的方向發(fā)展。要尊重世界文明多樣性，以文明交流超越文明隔閡、文明互鑒超越文明沖突、文明共存超越文明優(yōu)越。要堅(jiān)持環(huán)境友好，合作應(yīng)對(duì)氣候變化，保護(hù)好人類賴以生存的地球家園。
