China-Africa Community with a Shared Future
China and Africa have a long history of friendship. In a speech in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, on March 25, 2013, Xi Jinping pointed out that China and Africa "have always been a community of shared destiny" and "China will continue to support African countries in their quest for development paths that suit their national conditions." He mentioned "a China-Africa community of shared destiny through thick and thin" when exchanging views with African state leaders in Durban, South Africa, on March 28.
He expanded the term to "a community with shared interests based on mutually- beneficial cooperation" when meeting with Liberian president in November 2015 in Beijing. During the Johannesburg Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) in December 2015, he proposed lifting China-African relations to "a comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership," and for the first time he used "China-Africa community with a shared future." At the FOCAC Beijing Summit on September 3, 2018, Xi further proposed building a closer China-Africa community with a shared future. He called on both sides to assume joint responsibility, pursue win-win cooperation, deliver happiness for all, enjoy cultural prosperity and common security, and promote harmony between man and nature.
The China-Africa community is a best summary of bilateral relations, and reflects China's new vision of the relationship. It is a pacesetter for building a community with a shared future for humanity.
中非命運共同體
中國與非洲有著深厚的傳統友誼。2013年3月25日，習近平在坦桑尼亞達累斯薩拉姆發表演講，強調中非“從來都是命運共同體”，支持非洲國家“探索適合本國國情的發展道路”。3月28日，習近平在南非德班同非洲國家領導人就中非關系、非洲形勢深入交換意見時進一步提出，“中非是休戚與共的命運共同體”。2015年11月，習近平在北京同利比里亞總統會談時，將中非關系從“休戚與共的命運共同體”進一步延伸至“合作共贏的利益共同體”。2015年12月，習近平出席中非合作論壇約翰內斯堡峰會期間提出，把中非關系提升為“全面戰略合作伙伴關系”，并首次使用“中非命運共同體”的提法。2018 年9月3日，習近平在中非合作論壇北京峰會上提出“共筑更加緊密的中非命運共同體”，并從6個方面作出全面詮釋：責任共擔、合作共贏、幸福共享、文化共興、安全共筑、和諧共生的中非命運共同體。
中非命運共同體是習近平關于中非關系的高度概括，體現中國對中非關系的最新定位與思考，在推動構建人類命運共同體的歷史進程中走在了前列。
