Jakarta-Bandung railway
The Jakarta-Bandung railway is Indonesia’s first high-speed rail project. The planned 150-kilometer-long rail line will link Indonesia’s capital Jakarta to its fourth largest city, Bandung. Chinese businesses will participate in funding and construction. The line has a design speed of 250-300 kilometers per hour, and is to be built with Chinese technology and equipment to meet Chinese standards. The travel time from Jakarta to Bandung is expected to be shortened to about 40 minutes after the completion of the project.
An agreement was reached on October 16, 2015 between China Railway International Co Ltd and four Indonesian state-owned enterprises to establish a Chinese-Indonesian consortium tasked to construct and operate the line. The project represents an innovative approach to international cooperation, with businesses from both countries involved under the sponsorship of the two governments. A groundbreaking ceremony for the project was held on January 21, 2016.
The rail link is expected to stimulate growth in such sectors as metallurgy, manufacturing, infrastructure, power generation and logistics, create jobs, and promote structural transformation in Indonesia. It will, in particular, facilitate travel, expand business opportunities and promote tourism along the rail line. It will also provide a sound basis for further cooperation between China and Indonesia in such fields as infrastructure development and trade.
雅萬(wàn)鐵路
雅萬(wàn)鐵路是中國(guó)企業(yè)參與投資建設(shè)的印度尼西亞首條高速鐵路，從該國(guó)首都雅加達(dá)至第四大城市萬(wàn)隆，全長(zhǎng)150公里，將采用中國(guó)技術(shù)、中國(guó)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)和中國(guó)裝備，設(shè)計(jì)時(shí)速為每小時(shí)250至300公里。建成通車后，從雅加達(dá)至萬(wàn)隆的時(shí)間將縮短為約40分鐘。2015年10月16日，中國(guó)鐵路總公司在雅加達(dá)與印度尼西亞4家國(guó)有企業(yè)簽署協(xié)議，組建中國(guó)--印尼雅萬(wàn)高鐵合資公司，負(fù)責(zé)印尼雅加達(dá)至萬(wàn)隆高速鐵路項(xiàng)目的建設(shè)和運(yùn)營(yíng)。雅萬(wàn)高鐵項(xiàng)目是國(guó)際上首個(gè)由政府主導(dǎo)搭臺(tái)、兩國(guó)企業(yè)間進(jìn)行合作建設(shè)的高鐵項(xiàng)目，是國(guó)際鐵路合作模式的一次探索和創(chuàng)新。2016年1月21日，雅萬(wàn)高鐵項(xiàng)目開(kāi)工奠基。雅萬(wàn)鐵路不僅將直接拉動(dòng)印尼冶煉、制造、基建、電力、物流等配套產(chǎn)業(yè)發(fā)展，增加就業(yè)機(jī)會(huì)，推動(dòng)產(chǎn)業(yè)結(jié)構(gòu)升級(jí)，而且建成通車后，能夠極大地方便民眾出行，促進(jìn)沿線商業(yè)開(kāi)發(fā)，帶動(dòng)沿線旅游產(chǎn)業(yè)快速發(fā)展，并為中國(guó)--印尼之間在基礎(chǔ)設(shè)施、商貿(mào)等領(lǐng)域的進(jìn)一步合作奠定良好基礎(chǔ)。
