Nagarjuna's Madhyamaka-karika is the most im portant classic of the Madhyamika School. It contains the essentials of Nagarjun as thought in 27 short chapters. It has many annotated editions in the Hindu, Chinese and Tibetan languages. In the present edition, the annotations of the first 23 chapters were made by Gos Rampa Sonam Sengge (1429-1469), a Buddhist scholar of Tibetan Buddhist Sakya Sect. The annotations to the rest 4 chapters were made by Shakya Lodro. Appended with an article, entitled "A Brief Biography of Master Nagarjuna" by sutra teacher Yeshe Gyeltsen.

The Annotations to "The Four Hundred Verses" was made by Rendawa Shonnu Lodro (1349-1412), Tsongkhapa's teacher.

Abhidharmakosha, a representative work of Vas ubandhu, an Indian Buddhist scholar in the 5th century. This is a classical work required to study by all Tibetan Buddhist sects in learning doctrines of Hinaya na Buddhism. There are many annotated versions on the work, one of which was listed in Catalogue of Chinese Publications in Tibetan Studies (1949-1991) published by the Foreign Languages Press.
