Hong Kong songster Sandy Lam's long anticipated Beijing solo concert will be held at the end of April.

The vocalist showed up at a news conference on Sunday aiming to do some promotion and introduce the preparatory conditions.

The concert was originally scheduled to kick off last year's May Day Holiday but was eventually postponed due to the SARS crisis.

Many of her fans in Beijing still have their tickets from last year's cancellation and hope the long-overdue concert is worth the wait.
